KNUST MASTERCARD FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIP

NOTES:

  • Field of study: Students planning to pursue any undergraduate program can apply.
  • Nationality: Students from Ghana and other African countries can apply.
  • Applicants must apply to Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) for undergraduate studies.
  • Benefits:
  • The scholarship covers fully – paid on- campus housing, full tuition, monthly stipends, learning materials, transportation.
  • Provision of academic support through coaching in terms of career, academic mentoring and tutoring.
  • Great alumni network
  • Opportunities to give back to your community and engage in leadership seminars.

ELIGIBILITY

  • All Applicants with WASSCE or GBCE OR ABCE OR GCE O’ Level and A’ Level or their equivalent results from an accredited / recognized institution.

NB: Students with awaiting results will not be accepted.

  • Applicant must have strong economic needs.
  • Applicant must have engaged in community works or must have taken leadership role. Records of these must be shown.
  • Applicants pursuing any undergraduate course will be considered but science course are preferred.
  • Priority will be given to female applicants and physically challenged applicants.
  • Applicants must be ready to give back to his or her society.
  • Supporting documents:
  • WASSCE or O’LEVEL and A’LEVEL certificate.
  • A minimum of three reference letters from persons of higher reputation. All letters must be sealed and signed independently.
  • Evidence of income of parents/guardians, example- pay slip
  • Bank statements of parents or guardians
  • High school transcripts covering the last three years.
  • Endorsed Passport photo
  • Certificate of achievements, awards.
  • Any other documents that would support your application.

DEADLINE

Applications are usually opened in March and the deadline for submission is in May.
